About us
Welcome to TLC3 The Living Church, where our purpose is to equip people to become disciples with transformed lives. We engage with God through vibrant worship, foster community connections, and serve the world through dedicated ministry. Our commitment to living a Christ-like walk within our community helps individuals grow in faith and love for others. By studying the Bible and worshiping together, we lead people to discover and love God in deeper ways. Empowered by their understanding of God’s plan, we encourage everyone to use their gifts to positively impact the world.
Leading people to discover God, love Christ to the fullest, develop themselves, and be deployed into leadership with a biblical worldview.
TLC3 stands for "The Living Church 3," with the "3" representing the three essential standards we hold ourselves accountable to as a church community. These standards guide us in understanding if we are progressing as a church and as individual members.
The name TLC3 is a constant reminder for us to evaluate where we are on this journey. Are we still learning, living, and leading in a way that aligns with these standards? It’s a call to reflection and growth, ensuring we remain true to the path we’ve set.
1. Together Learning Christ
We are committed to learning about Christ together as a church. Through Bible study, sermons, and shared experiences, we deepen our understanding of who Christ is and what it means to follow Him.
2. Together Living Christ
Our goal is to live as closely to Christ as possible in our daily lives. We strive to embody His teachings, showing love, grace, and compassion in all our interactions.
3. Together Leading Others to Christ
We believe in the importance of leading others to Christ. Through our actions, words, and outreach, we aim to share the message of Christ and invite others into a relationship with Him.

Our Mission
At TLC3 The Living Church, our mission is to transform lives by equipping individuals to become devoted disciples of Christ. Through engaging worship, meaningful community connections, and impactful ministry service, we help people discover and develop their faith. We are committed to fostering a Christ-like walk within our community, encouraging growth in faith and love for others. By studying the Bible and worshiping together, we guide individuals to deepen their relationship with God and empower them to use their gifts to make a positive impact on the world.
Our Core Values
We acknowledge and honor each person's unique strengths and qualities.
We believe that every individual is created in the image of God and possesses inherent worth and dignity. We strive to recognize and value the unique contributions and potential of each person in our community, encouraging mutual respect and appreciation.
"Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king." — 1 Peter 2:17 (NASB 1995)
We focus on uplifting and enabling others to actively be the hands and feet of Christ.
True leadership is demonstrated through service to others. We are committed to empowering and supporting others, putting their needs before our own, and fostering an environment where everyone can thrive and achieve their God-given potential.
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.“ - Mark 10:45 (NASB 1995)
We strive to enhance our abilities and character daily.
We believe in the importance of personal growth and development. By continually seeking to improve ourselves, we can better serve God and our community. This involves a commitment to learning, self-reflection, and the pursuit of excellence in all areas of life.
"Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus." — Philippians 3:12 (NASB 1995)
We approach challenges with determination and a positive attitude.
Life is filled with obstacles and difficulties, but we believe in facing them with perseverance and faith. We remain steadfast and optimistic, trusting in God's strength and guidance to overcome any adversity and emerge stronger in our faith.
"Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance." — James 1:2-3(NASB 1995)
What we Believe
We believe the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are inspired by God and are the supreme and final authority of our faith.
We believe there is one true God as the eternal, almighty, perfect Being Who exists as three distinct Persons; Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
We believe the first man Adam sinned against God of which sin and death spread to every human. Human beings are born in sin and do sin in a radically corrupted state. Because of the descent into sin, all are condemned to everlasting destruction away from the presence of the Lord unless spiritually saved in forgiveness of sins. Humans are unable to spiritually save themselves.
We believe Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners through His crucifixion and resurrection. His sacrifice provided the required substitutionary atonement, purchase, propitiation, and cleansing for the sins of all who embrace Him. All who receive salvation do so by the Lord’s grace alone, through His work alone, through faith alone. His resurrection life is shared with all who believe in Him as Lord and Savior. All who receive the gift of salvation have the Holy Spirit. All who receive the gift of salvation inherit everlasting life in the Lord. Those who are spiritually saved cannot lose spiritual salvation. Spiritual salvation is everlasting spiritual life all the time and not temporal spiritual life at any time.
We believe the expansive church is composed of all who are saved in Christ. The local church body is composed of gathered and assembled Christians who are committed to one another in Christian love. The local church is the household of God, the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth.
We seek to outwork the inner life of Christ by the Spirit through New Covenant / New Testament revelation as the abiding standard of our Christian conduct.
We seek understanding of all Scripture (including the Old Testament) through the interpretational lens of the New Covenant / New Testament revelations of the Christian apostles, scribes, and prophets.
We believe that baptism and the Lord’s Supper, neither of which is essential to salvation, are meant to be observed by believers.
We acknowledge that biblical prophecy is mysterious and difficult to comprehend, especially in matters concerning end times. We do not hold to any one dogmatic system of eschatological theory. We emphasize God’s sovereignty and trust in His plans in all things. We recognize and look forward to the future coming of glorified Christ.
